A tragic incident occurred in Tirur when a ten-year-old boy, Muhammed Rihan, lost his life after his bicycle was struck by a private bus near the NOC Padi mosque on Thursday evening. The gravity of the tragedy deepened when Rihan’s 84-year-old grandfather, Haneefa (also known as Kunjippa), suffered a massive heart attack upon hearing the devastating news of his grandson’s death. Although Haneefa was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the ICU, he passed away on Friday morning, leaving the community in profound shock. The young boy, son of Puthenpeediyekkal Anwar and Abida, was traveling on his bicycle when the bus, traveling from Purathur to Tirur, hit him, resulting in fatal injuries that he could not survive despite being taken to the hospital.
