A heartbreaking tragedy recently struck the village of Alikkara in Chalissery, where six-year-old Muhammed Hyzin lost his life in a freak accident involving his father’s mini-truck. Hyzin, a pre-primary student and the beloved “shadow” of his father Hanifa, was known for his constant presence in the front seat of the vehicle, which even bore his name as a tribute from his doting dad. During a routine trip to go fishing, the truck’s door unexpectedly swung open while in motion, causing the boy to fall onto the road and be fatally struck by the vehicle’s rear wheels. The sudden loss has left his parents, two sisters, and the entire community in deep mourning, as they remember the young boy’s cheerful laughter and the inseparable bond he shared with his father.
