Shyni” reports the tragic death of 45-year-old Shyni during a dance performance at a temple festival in Kozhikode. Shyni, the wife of M.N. Shaju from Palazhi, was performing a traditional dance with a group of six other local women at the Chirakkal Shiva Bhagavathi Temple on a Wednesday night. Having practiced enthusiastically for several days, she was performing on stage for about two minutes when she began to feel physically unwell. Video footage circulating on social media shows her withdrawing from the stage due to dizziness and subsequently collapsing in the backstage area. Although she was rushed to a private hospital in Palazhi, she passed away before arrival. Shyni is survived by her husband, her mother Sathi, and two children, Dr. Sneha and Saptha. Her sudden passing while pursuing her passion for art has left the local community and her fellow performers in deep shock and mourning.
