Sreejith (30), a driver from Puthenchira, and Milna (24), a bakery employee from Vennur, were found hanging from the same rope in Sreejith’s rented house. According to the report, Sreejith had been married twice, and his second wife had recently attempted suicide and was hospitalized after a dispute regarding his relationship with Milna. Milna’s parents had reported her missing since the previous Friday. Sreejith’s second wife had previously told police that Sreejith had mistreated her and was involved with another woman, leading to a case being filed against him. Following these events, the two were discovered dead. Police, led by the Irinjalakuda DySP, have completed the inquest and are conducting further investigations before releasing the bodies to the respective families.
